I’m Matt, co founder of Outlap.

 

I’ve always loved both motorsports and filmmaking because of how they make you feel. Racing has this unmatched intensity. The sounds, the speed, the moments that make your heart jump even when you’re just watching from a screen. Film is how I learned to capture and communicate that feeling.

 

My background is in visual storytelling, and Outlap is where that skill meets my love for racing. I focus on how motorsports is presented. The pacing, the emotion, the context that helps someone not just understand what happened, but care about it. I’m less interested in surface level highlights and more interested in why a moment mattered.

 

I started Outlap because I wanted motorsports content that felt inviting without being watered down. Something that could pull new fans in while still respecting the people who’ve loved racing for years. Everything we create is guided by that balance.

 

At the end of the day, I’m just someone who loves racing and believes good storytelling is what turns interest into passion.
